IslaVisit started as a personal project: research notes and comparisons on ferries, fees, budgets and itineraries across the Philippines, put together because the information already online was often outdated, generic, or based on a single visit years ago. It grew into a proper resource for international travelers, researched destination by destination using primary sources — operators, government portals and current pricing — rather than reworded from what other blogs already say.
We are early: a small set of in-depth guides so far, with more added regularly, built for travelers coming from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and across Asia.
