These terms cover your use of islavisit.com. They are deliberately short. By using the site, you accept them.
What IslaVisit is
IslaVisit publishes travel planning guides for the Philippines. We are a publisher, not a travel agency, tour operator or booking platform. We do not sell flights, accommodation, tours or insurance, and we are not party to any booking you make with a third party.
Accuracy, and its limits
We research carefully and check prices, routes and entry requirements against operator and government sources before publishing, and we date every guide so you can see how current it is. Even so, travel information goes out of date quickly. Fares change weekly, ferry schedules change seasonally, and entry rules can change without notice.
Treat our guides as a planning framework, not a guarantee. Before you book or travel, confirm anything that matters directly with the operator, and confirm entry requirements with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and the eTravel portal. Where our information conflicts with an official source, the official source is correct.
Third-party links and bookings
We link to external sites, some of them affiliate links, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability or conduct. Any booking you make is a contract between you and that company, governed by their terms, not ours.
No liability for travel decisions
You are responsible for your own travel decisions, including visas, insurance, health precautions and safety. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IslaVisit is not liable for loss, cost or inconvenience arising from reliance on our content or from any third-party service we mention. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Using our content
The writing, photography and layout on IslaVisit are ours unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a visible link back to the page. Republishing whole guides, or reproducing our content to train commercial models without permission, is not permitted. For syndication or licensing, email support@islavisit.com.
If you leave a comment, you keep ownership of it and grant us permission to display it on the site. We may remove comments that are spam, abusive or off-topic.
Corrections
If something on IslaVisit is wrong, tell us at support@islavisit.com. We would rather correct a guide than defend it, and we update the date when we do.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site develops, and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
